Eric Michael Espadrille with Chunk Heel

We really like the casual style of the open-toe sandals with silk shantung material.  We’ve featured the bone color here which can be paired with so many outfits that we own.  It’s too bad that they don’t offer this shoe in more colors.  Given the current popularity of espadrille sandals, we’d like more choices other than a neutral shade.

But the rubber outsole covering the chunky 3 inch heel is a relaxed design that works here.  We also approve of the gathered material that forms the open toe effect.  And the sling-back is actually adjustable which seems to do it’s job of securing the shoe and a woman’s foot together.  This is especially useful for women with a narrow foot.  The back strap will often slip off at the wrong time - very annoying.  But that’s not the case here.

Also, the footbed is fully lined with leather and covered with cushioning which adds a little bit of extra comfort.  The bottom line is an espradrille sandal that we can recommend as a cute, comfy summer shoe.
